Seven personal bests for Jimmies at Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic

ASHLAND, Neb.-- The University of Jamestown women's cross country team competed at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic, hosted by Doane University and College of Saint Mary Saturday morning.

Twenty-three teams and 287 runners made up the field of the 6K race. The Jimmies placed 18th as a team and had an average time of 25:10.

Ellyse Tinglestad from College of Idaho was the individual winner in a time of 20:52, and College of Idaho won the team competition with 44 points.

Seven Jimmie runners (Jordyn Thorson, Keely Arnston, Brooke Olson, Makiah Kerr, Allyson Schreiber, Kirsten Vander Kooi, and Natalie Whitcomb) set new personal records.
