Additional Information: The University of Jamestown is a private, four-year, liberal arts university founded in 1883 by Presbyterian settlers. It is located in Jamestown, ND - population 15,500 in southeastern North Dakota - just 100 miles from North Dakota's capital city, Bismarck, and 100 miles to the east is North Dakota's largest city, Fargo.
Financial Assistance: Annually, the University of Jamestown awards more than $7 million in institutional scholarships based primarily on academic ability. In addition, students who demonstrate artistic and athletic talents or leadership skills in extra-curricular activities may receive special scholarships for these abilities.
