Women's throwers compete at Red Raider Open, two place in top 10

The throwers of the University of Jamestown women's track and field team competed at the Red Raider Open in Orange City, Iowa on Friday and Saturday. Two women placed in the top 10. 

FOR THE JIMMIES

• Makenzie Gibson placed 10^th in the Discus Throw with a career best mark of 36.09m (118'5"). She had another career best mark of 10.40m (34'1.5") in the Shot Put.
• Brenna Held placed eighth in the Shot Put with a career best mark of 11.48m (37'8"). 
• Heather Okeson (39.78m, 130'6") and Brenna Held (40.49m, 132'10") both had career best performances in the Hammer Throw.
