Women's track & field - nine women competed at the GPAC Indoor Championships

The Jamestown women's track & field team competed February 16-17 at the GPAC Indoor Championships in Yankton, South Dakota.

FOR THE JIMMIES

  • Kristina Brossart competed in the 60 Meters and ran a personal best time of 8.08 in preliminaries. 
  • Jordyn Thorson placed 4th of 18 in the 800 Meters with a time of 2:24.72. She placed 10th of 18 in the Mile with a time of 5:23.62. 
  • Keely Arnston placed 9th of 18 in the 1000 Meters with a time of 3:14.31. She also placed 9th of 18 in the Mile with a personal best time of 5:21.12. 
  • Kirsten Vander Kooi placed 14th of 16 in the 5000 Meters with time of 20:48.90. 
  • Paige Erhardt placed 8th of 17 in the 60 Hurdles with two personal best times of 9.48 in finals and 9.23 in the preliminaries. 
  • Stephanie Chadduck tied for 2nd of 18 in High Jump with a jump of 1.55m (5'1").
  • Mackenzie Bakken became an NAIA National Qualifier in Pole Vault with a jump of 3.47m (11'4.5"). She placed 5th of 14. 
  • Megan Frank tied for 7th of 14 in Pole Vault with a jump of 3.32m (10'10.75"). 
  • Sara Bonn placed 12th of 13 in the Pentathlon and earned 2333 points. She had a personal best throw in Shot Put of 9.00m (29'6.5").

  • The women travel to the NAIA Indoor Championships in Brookings, South Dakota on February 29-March 2. Start times are TBA.
