Women's golf places second at Comet Invitational

The University of Jamestown women's golf team competed Tuesday, October 1, and Wednesday, October 2 at the Comet Invitational in Hawley, Minnesota. The Jimmies competed in two teams, UJ 1 and UJ 2.  

FOR THE JIMMIES

UJ 1:

• The team took second place with 82-over. 
• Celi Nelson took first place with 10-over 152 (73-79). 
• Isabella Crafford tied for sixth with 23-over 165 (83-82). 
• Ellie Garavaglia tied for sixth with 23-over 165 (81-84). 
• Kyra Vogel placed eighth with 26-over 168 (84-84). 
• Tori Worner placed 11^th with 29-over 171 (87-84). 

UJ 2:

• The team took third place with 122-over. 
• Ava Thorenson placed 10^th with 28-over 170 (90-80). 
• Peyton Johnson placed 12^th with 30-over 172 (85-87). 
• Taylor Martin placed 13^th with 31-over 173 (86-87). 
• Kacie Rexin placed 15^th with 35-over 177 (92-85). 
• Karsyn Swigart placed 16^th with 36-over 178 (90-88). 

OPPONENTS

• DSU took first place with 67-over. 
• MSU followed UJ in fourth place with 170-over.
