Five women represent Jimmie golf at the GPAC Championship

The University of Jamestown women's golf team competed Monday and Tuesday at the GPAC Championships in Spencer, Iowa. They shot two rounds of 18 holes on Monday and one round on Tuesday. The team finished 6 of 12. One women placed in the top 10 and two placed in the top half. 

FOR THE JIMMIES

  • Isabella Crafford placed sixth with 28-over 244 (81-79-84). 
  • Kyra Vogel tied for 19th with 41-over 257 (86-82-89). 
  • Celi Nelson tied for 25th with 46-over 262 (90-86-86). 
  • Ellie Garavaglia tied for 42nd with 57-over 273 (91-92-90). 
  • Taylor Martin placed 45th with 59-over 275 (93-90-92). 
  • The team shot 170-over 1,034 (348-337-349).

OPPONENTS 

  • Morningside took first place with 108-over 972 (324-322-326). 
  • Northwestern followed Jamestown with 178-over 1,042 (362-333-347), and Mount Marty finished one place ahead of Jamestown with 160-over 1,024 (354-325-345).  
  • Sofia Castelan of Morningside took first place with 12-over 228 (75-77-76).
