Women's golf places sixth at Yellow Jacket Invite

The University of Jamestown women's golf team competed this week (October 16-17) at the Yellow Jacket Fall Invite at the Lake Hills Golf Course in Billings, Montana. The women improved from their first-round place of eighth, taking sixth place as a team with 103-over 679 (349-330).  

FOR THE JIMMIES

• Isabella Crafford tied for 10^th with 14-over 158 (79-79).
• Kyra Vogel tied for 27th^th with 24-over 168 (86-82).
• Celi Nelson placed 36^th with 31-over 175 (94-81).
• Karsyn Swigart placed 39^th with 34-over 178 (90-88).

OPPONENTS

• Rocky Mountain College took first place with 29-over 605.
• Valentina Zuleta of Rocky Mountain College placed first scoring even with par, 144 (74-70). 

UP NEXT

• The women's golf team competes next on March 18^th at the Midwest Cup in Salina, Kansas. Time to be determined.
