HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Jimmies started strong scoring nine points to the Chargers three. Jailyn Martinson was had seven of the nine points. 
  • At 5:28, the Chargers tied the Jimmies 13-13. The Chargers largest lead after that was four points, but a jump shot by Kia Tower put the Jimmies within two to end the first quarter, 23-25. 
  • The Chargers went on an 8-0 run to start the second quarter, extending their lead to ten points. 
  • The Jimmies, with points from Hannah Hagel, Kate Busek, Kia Tower, and Audrey Rodakowski, chipped away to get within six points (34-40) with 3:20 left in the half.
  • The Chargers scored seven more points, and the Jimmies scored eight more points to end the half trailing 42-47. 
  • The Chargers put up 10 points before the Jimmies were able to get on the board in the third quarter. 
  • The Jimmies shaved four points off the Chargers lead, ending the third behind 55-66. 
  • The Jimmies had 18 points to the Chargers 19 in the fourth quarter but as they were unable to come back from the third quarter deficit, the Jimmies ended the game behind 73-85.

  • Rachel Langel scored 19 points. 
  • Konnor Sudmann had a triple double with 18 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds.
