HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Jimmies started strong in the first quarter, taking the lead, and keeping it the entirety. Their largest lead was 13-7, and the quarter ended 13-9.
  • The Jimmies continued to lead until the Broncos went on a 6-0 run to tie them 20-20 with 1:41 left in the second. 
  • The Broncos put up four more points to the Jimmies two to end the quarter with their first lead, 24-22. 
  • Audrey Rodakowski led scoring for the Jimmies in the first half with eight points. 
  • In the third quarter, the Broncos took off scoring 23 points, while the Jimmies scored 14.  
  • With three minutes left, the Jimmies were down 34-38. The Broncos went for nine straight points. The Jimmies put up two and ended the third behind 36-47. 
  • The Jimmies struggled for buckets in the fourth scoring nine to the Broncos 19. 
  • Kia Tower led the Jimmies in the second half with five points. 
  • The Jimmies faced their first loss in five games, 45-66
