HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jimmies started off strong gaining an 11-4 lead to the Tigers in the first six minutes. The Tigers were able to get a quick four points to trail by three with 2:37 left in the first quarter.
- Reagan Johnson sunk a three to bring the Jimmies ahead six with 1:40 remaining. To finish the quarter, the Tigers scored five points and the Jimmies scored four to lead by five (18-13).
- The Jimmies hit a dry spell the start of the second quarter. The Tigers took the lead scoring 15 points to the Jimmies two (28-20).
- Kate Busek and Kate Cordes hit threes to end the dry spell and lessen the gap to five points. But the Tigers came back with nine points, extending their lead to 40-26 with 2:26 left in the half.
- The Jimmies managed to put up nine points to end the half trailing 35-42.
- The Jimmies battled with the Tigers in the second half managing to get within two points of them multiple times. However, the close fought battle went to the Tigers 79-73.
