Jimmies share the wealth in win over Mount Marty
Twelve different players scored for the Jimmie women's basketball team in a 68-48 win over Mount Marty (S.D.) University Wednesday evening at Harold Newman Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jamestown opened the game on a 12-2 run, capped off by a Kate Busek three-pointer at the 2:46 mark.
- Sidney Thune's free throws with 6:18 remaining were the only Lancer points until the 1:41 mark, when she made the team's first field goal. Mount Marty missed their first 12 shots and were just 2-of-16 in the quarter.
- After Kaela Martinez made a three to bring the Lancers within nine (18-9) at 9:22 of the second quarter, Jamestown scored eight straight and 11 of the next 12 to lead by 19 (29-10) with 6:07 before the half.
- Mount Marty scored just four points in the final 6:35 of the first and went scoreless for the last 4:55.
- UJ outscored the Lancers 21-8 in the second quarter and had a 14-3 rebounding advantage.
- Ilycia Guerue sank a pair of free throws with 3:35 in the third to give the Jimmies a 31-point lead, which later grew to 34 after free throws by Taya Jeffrey and a basket by Lilly Meincke.
- Mount Marty trailed 62-32 with 8:47 in the game before going on an 11-0 run to get within 64-45 at the 5:25 mark.
- Jamestown was held to one field goal in the last five minutes while shooting 3-of-14 in the quarter.
JAMESTOWN GAME NOTES
- The Jimmies shot 35.6 percent (21-of-59) from the floor, including 25 percent (7-of-28) from three-point range.
- Sarah Lenz was the lone UJ player to reach double figures, finishing with 10 points.
- Kia Tower had nine points while Audrey Rodakowski finished with eight.
- Megan Oswald and Hannah Hagel both had seven points off the bench.
- Hannah DeMars pulled down nine rebounds as UJ outrebounded Mount Marty 45-33.
MOUNT MARTY GAME NOTES
- Mount Marty shot 32.7 percent (18-of-55) from the floor, including 30.8 percent (8-of-26) from three-point range.
- Eve Millar had a game-high 11 points and grabbed a team-best eight rebounds.
- Thue added 10 points and three steals.
