Gavyn Graham Leads the Way for the Jimmie Men in his Collegiate Debut

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The University of Jamestown men's cross country team competed at the Augustana Twilight, hosted by Augustana University Friday evening.

30 teams and 375 runners made up the field of the four mile.The Jimmies placed 19th as a team and had an average time of 20:58.

Geofry Ronoh from Iowa Western CC was the individual winner with a time of 17:58, and Iowa Western CC won the team competition with 53 points.

"Both teams did a decent job to open the season. This opener gives us a lot of knowledge to know what we need to work on in the coming weeks. Racing with limited squads definitely hurt us in the results, but we're looking forward to racing full teams at our next meet!"
