Jimmies place fourth at GPAC Championships, Trevino named All-Conference

NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. -- The University of Jamestown men's cross country team finished their season Saturday at the GPAC Championships on Saturday, placing fourth out of 11 teams. The Jimmies averaged a time of 26:36 for the 8K race.

JIMMIE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Gabe Trevino was the top finisher for Jamestown, placing 15th with a time of 25:39. Trevino earned all-conference honors with his 15th place finish.
  • Cole Campbell placed 28th with a time of 26:26.
  • David Martin was next in 29th place, turning in a time of 26:29.
  • Landon Thompson took 41st in a time of 26:56
  • Clark Lortscher rounded out the scoring for UJ, placing 53rd with a time of 27:28.
  • Kanyon Vermillion took 56th (27:34)
  • Corbin Cornelius was 58th (27:37)
  • Ethan Sherva came in 69th (28:11)
  • Liam Pospisil placed 84th (30:42)
  • Campbell, Martin, Thompson. Lortscher, Vermillion, Cornelius, and Sherva all set new personal records.
