Jimmies set seven personal bests at Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic

ASHLAND, Neb.-- The University of Jamestown men's cross country team competed at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic, hosted by Doane University and College of Saint Mary Saturday morning.

Twenty-three teams and 284 runners made up the field of the 8K race. The Jimmies placed 15th as a team and had an average time of 26:50.

Emad Bashir-Mohammed from St. Mary (Kan.) was the individual winner in a time of 24:07, and College of Idaho won the team competition with 56 points.

Seven Jimmie runners (Cole Campbell, David Martin, Landon Thompson, Clark Lortscher, Kanyon Vermillion, Ethan Sherva, and Liam Pospisil) set new personal records.
