Some of the University of Jamestown men's track and field team competed at the Viking Twilight in Valley City, North Dakota on Tuesday. The team took third of five.   

FOR THE JIMMIES

  • Luis Garcia placed sixth in the 100 Meters with a time of 12.78. He placed third in the 200 Meters with a time of 26.07. 
  • Shane Zancauske placed third in the 110 Hurdles with a time of 18.91. 
  • Corbin Cornelius placed first in the 800 Meters with a season best time of 2:06.04. 
  • Ethan Sherva placed third in the 800 Meters with a time of 2:18.97. 
  • David Martin placed first in the 1500 Meters with a personal best time of 4:13.80. 
  • Kanyon Vermillion placed second in the 1500 Meters with a season best time of 4:18.24. 
  • Drew Hjelmstad placed third in the 1500 Meters with a time of 4:21.10. 
  • Shane Schnurr placed fourth in the Discus with a mark of 37.37m (122'7"). 
  • Connor Smith placed fourth in the Javelin with a mark of 38.38m (125'11"). 
  • Charles Eaton placed eighth in the Javelin with a mark of 30.55m (100'2").
