Four Jimmie throwers place in the top 10 at the Red Raider Open

The throwers of the University of Jamestown men's track and field team competed at the Red Raider Open in Orange City, Iowa on Friday and Saturday. Four men placed in the top 10. 

FOR THE JIMMIES

  • Dawson Sedivec won the Hammer Throw with a mark of 56.45m (108'2"). He placed 4th in the Discus Throw with a mark of 45.22m (148'4"). He placed ninth in the Shot Put with a mark of 14.19m (46'6.75"). 
  • Jorden Morales won the Discus Throw with a mark of 49.37m (161'11"). He placed fifth in the Javelin Throw with a mark of 46.55m (152'8"). 
  • Tyler Dean placed sixth in the Discus Throw with a mark of 42.64m (139'10"). 
  • Samuel Reiland placed 10th in the Discus Throw with a mark of 41.25m (135'4").
  • Gabriel Sherman had a career best mark of 37.82m (124'1") in the Hammer Throw.
