Jimmies shut out in home finale against Bellevue

JAMESTOWN, N.D.— The University of Jamestown men's soccer team failed to score for the first time in their last six matches, falling 2-0 to Bellevue (Neb.) University Saturday afternoon at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The first half was scoreless with Bellevue outshooting the Jimmies both overall (8-2) and on target (4-0).
  • Bellevue got on the board in the 62nd minute with a goal by Edwin Cisneros, assisted by Kyi Nicholson.
  • The Bruins' second goal came in the 88th minute from Jeremiah Hteh with an assist from Kai Yoshida.
  • Shots were 17-7 in favor of Bellevue, as were shots on target (8-3).
  • Charlie Clark made six saves for the Jimmies.
