YANKTON, S.D. – The Jimmie men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against Mount Marty University Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wade McWhorter converted a penalty kick in the 18th minute to give UJ a 1-0 lead.
- The Lancers were awarded a penalty kick of their own in the 40th minute, and Brandon Cervantes tied the match after beating Jimmie goalkeeper Charlie Clark.
FOR THE JIMMIES
- Jamestown had a 3-2 advantage in shots on goal. Overall shots were 8-7 in favor of MMU.
