Jimmie men's golf secures first place at DWU Spring Invite; Worner takes first

The University of Jamestown men's golf team competed in the second round of the DWU Spring Invite on April 9th. The team took first place, and three Jimmie men placed in the top 10. 

FOR THE JIMMIES

  • Jackson Worner placed first with 3-under 141 (73-68). 
  • Gehrig Geiss tied for third with 3-over 147 (72-75). 
  • Max Noffsinger tied for sixth with 5-over 149 (75-74). 
  • Aidan Hall tied for 12th with 11-over 155 (81-74).
  • Logan Schons placed 15th with 13-over 157 (78-79). 
  • Drew Jordan played as an individual and tied for 17th with 16-over 160 (79-81).
  • Cole Campbell played as an individual and tied for 21st with 18-over 162 (84-78). 
  • Aiden McLain played as an individual and tied for 24th with 20-over 164 (87-77). 

OPPONENTS

  • Dakota Wesleyan took second place.
  • Dickinson State took third place.

  • The men travel to Dickinson, North Dakota on April 15-16 for the DSU Invitational.
