Jimmie men's golf starts back up with third place finish at Konzem-Capra Invitational

The University of Jamestown men's golf team started their season back up March 18-19 at the Konzem-Capra Invitational in Spring Hill, Kansas at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course. The men took third place out of 10 and had two players place in the top 10. 

FOR THE JIMMIES

  • Max Noffsinger tied for fourth place with 3-over 147 (74-73). 
  • Jackson Worner tied for eighth with 6-over 150 (74-76). 
  • Gehrig Geiss tied for 17th with 9-over 153 (80-73). 
  • Logan Schons placed 31st with 19-over 163 (81-82).
  • Ben Schaefer tied for 49th with 28-over 172 (87-85). 
  • Jeremy Williams played as an individual and tied for 41st with 25-over 169 (83-86).
  • Aidan Hall played as an individual and tied for 25th with 15-over 159 (79-80). 
  • Logan Douglas played as an individual and placed 48th with 27-over 171 (85-86). 

OPPONENTS

  • Missouri Southern and Rockhurst A tied for first place. 
  • Martel Chase of Newman placed first with 1-over 145 (73-72). 

UP NEXT

  • The team heads to Mitchell, South Dakota for the DWU Spring Invitational on April 8-9.
