Men's golf in top 5 after first round of UJ Fall Invite

The University of Jamestown golf team competes this week at the UJ Fall Invite at the Jamestown Country Club. The men competed with three teams and shot 36 holes today (Sept. 11).

First round results

UJ-Orange:

UJ-Orange is in second place after the first round.

Jackson Worner (SR/West Fargo, N.D.) is tied for 2nd at 3-over 147. Max Noffsinger (JR/Ft. Collins, Colo.) and Aidan Hall (FR/Gardner, N.D.) are tied for 4th at 6-over 150. Gehrig Geiss (JR/Glen Ullin, N.D.) is in 9th at 7-over 151. Benjamin Schaefer (SR/New Rockford, N.D.) is tied for 15th at 12-over 156.  

UJ-Black:

UJ-Black is in fourth place after the first round.

Logan Douglas (SO/Stanley, England) is tied for 12th at 10-over 154. Logan Schons (FR/Detroit Lakes, Minn.) is tied for 17th at 13-over 157. Cole Campbell (FR/Oxbow, N.D.) is in 21st at 16-over 160. Drew Jordan (SR/Bakersfield, Calif.) is tied for 23rd at 18-over 162. Anthony Armstrong (FR/Breezy Point, Minn.) is tied for 30th at 20-over 164.

UJ-White:

UJ-White is in fifth place after the first round.

Jeremy Williams (SR/Jamestown, N.D.) is tied for 10th at 9-over 153. Aiden McLain (FR/Grafton, N.D.) is tied for 19th at 14-over 158. Camron Ketchum (JR/Billings, Mont.) is tied for 23rd at 18-over 162. Easton Romsdal (FR/Jamestown, N.D.) is tied for 26th at 19-over 163. Ben Hines (FR/Detroit Lakes, Minn.) is tied for 30th at 20-over 164. Shea Carroll (JR/Jamestown, N.D.) is tied for 40th at 30-over 174.
