HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jimmies had a slow start to the first half, falling 15-2 in the first four minutes.
- After that, the Jimmies struggled to catch up but continued to battle. The Broncos led by 17 with 3:53 remaining (46-29).
- The Jimmies were able to get within seven points at the 1:01 mark (46-39). The Broncos hit a three with 30 seconds left, and the half ended 49-39.
- Spencer Barr had the hot hand for threes, hitting three of them within a two-minute time frame.
- Silas Bennion opened the second half with two threes, helping the Jimmies get within six points (45-51). Six points was closest the Jimmies got to the Broncos in the second half, but not for lack of Jimmie effort.
- However, the game eventually went out of reach for the Jimmies as the Broncos expanded their lead 85-71 with 3:41 remaining. The game ended 92-76.
FOR THE JIMMIES
- Bennion (22) led in points for the second game in a row.
