Jimmies score season high in win over College of Saint Mary

OMAHA, Neb.—Audrey Rodakowski scored 17 points to lead four players in double figures as the University of Jamestown women's basketball team defeated College of Saint Mary (Neb.) 87-52 Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- With the score tied 6-6, Samantha Paulsen made a three-pointer to start a 9-0 run, capped off by a three by Kate Busek at the 2:58 mark of the first quarter.
- Jamestown held CSM to 21 percent shooting in the opening ten minutes, while outrebounding the Flames 14-4.
- UJ outscored CSM 19-8 in the second quarter, turning their 11-point first quarter lead into a 22-point edge at the break.
- Kate Cordes had seven points in the quarter on 3-of-4 shooting to finish with 10 points in the half, joining Rodakowski (11) in double figures.
- The third quarter began with a 17-0 run by the Jimmies, who built a 57-18 lead after Megan Oswald's basket at the 6:02 mark.
- CSM broke a scoreless streak of four minutes and 53 seconds with bucket that made it 57-20,
- Eight different players got into the scoring column in the third quarter, led by Paulsen's seven points.
- None of the Jimmie starters played in the fourth quarter as head coach Thad Sankey's reserves picked up the slack in the final ten minutes.
- Brenna Stroklund posted eight points and grabbed six rebounds on 4-for-4 shooting in the quarter, while Halle Crockett finished with five.
FOR THE JIMMIES
- Joining Rodakowski in double figures were Cordes (15), Stroklund (11), and Paulsen (10).
- Kia Tower pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds and passed out six assists.
- Stroklund finished with eight rebounds and Cordes added five assists.
FOR THE FLAMES
- Tia Murray had 14 points and five rebounds.
- Skye Giddings was also in double figures with 11 points.
- Madison Guzman had three assists.
